4. AI Processing & Third-Party AI Models
Stackwell uses third-party artificial intelligence models to process and extract data from uploaded invoice documents. This involves:
- Data Sent to AI Providers: Invoice document contents (including vendor names, amounts, dates, line items, and other visible data) are transmitted to third-party AI service providers for processing
- AI Providers Used: Groq (primary), Google Gemini (fallback), OpenRouter (fallback), and NVIDIA (fallback)
- Data Handling by AI Providers: Each provider processes data according to their own privacy and security policies. We select providers that commit to not using customer data for training their models, but you should review each provider's privacy policy for details
- No Sensitive Data: You should not upload documents containing sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health records, or financial account numbers) beyond what is necessary for invoice processing
